Think of Blast Panel as a slide projector. The Blast Panel features a “carousel” of “slides” that make up its programming rotation. The programming rotation combines a mix of advertising and informative/entertaining content. Some slides feature content exclusively such as trivia or photos of the day; some slides solely consist of advertising; and some slides contain content ?(e.g. news or weather) combined with advertising (what we call an endcap or roughly one third of the screen “real estate”).  Slides are displayed for either 15 or 30 seconds.

Which content slides are displayed and the length of the rotation is dependent on the product. For instance, programming for wine and spirits retailers will consist of more wine and spirits related content (i.e. wine and liquor facts, wine trivia, drink recipes) and be a much shorter programming loop (approximately 8 minutes) than say restaurants, bars, nightclubs which will feature all content and be a longer programming loop (approximately 15 minutes).

Content displayed simultaneously with advertising currently consists of:

  • Fortune Cookie
  • Headlines – Business
  • Headlines – Entertainment
  • Headlines – Politics
  • Headlines – Sports
  • Headlines – Technology
  • Headlines – Top Stories
  • Horoscopes
  • Weather
  • Word of the Day
Stand-alone full screen content currently consists of:

  • Beer Facts
  • Box Office Report
  • Calendar

  • Photos of the Day
